Tyafé, a specialty matcha and coffee café, opened October 17, 2026 at Westfield Wheaton Mall on Veirs Mill Road. The shop celebrates with a buy-one-get-one-free drink deal through October 17.
Tyafé, a new matcha and specialty coffee café, is now open at Westfield Wheaton Mall on the first floor at 11160 Veirs Mill Road in Wheaton. The shop launched on October 17, 2026 and marked the occasion with a buy-one-get-one-free drink promotion on opening day from 10am to 9pm.
The menu highlights traditional ceremonial matcha drinks, the best of which include the Mango Sticky Rice Matcha and Banana Bread Matcha Latte. The specialty coffee side offers similarly layered options like the Pistachio Spanish Latte and Tiramisu Latte. The café also serves fruit refreshers, espresso drinks and nonalcoholic cocktails. All beverages skip high-fructose corn syrup and artificial sweeteners.
Standout food items are the croffles—a hybrid between a croissant and a waffle. Four varieties launch with the shop: Biscoff Cookie Butter, Cookies and Cream, Strawberries and Cream and Pumpkin Cheesecake. Tyafé rotates creative seasonal drinks monthly through a program called "Ripples," which introduces new flavor combinations regularly.
Hours are Monday through Thursday, 10am to 8pm; Friday and Saturday, 10am to 9pm; and Sunday, 11am to 7pm.
