Teas'n You opens Rockville's most anticipated bubble tea spot

Teas'n You Fusion Tea House has brought its popular bubble tea menu and signature Basil Popcorn Chicken to Rockville with the opening of its first Maryland location on September 26, 2026. The new shop occupies the space at 838 Rockville Pike previously held by Cuppa Tea.

The most talked-about item is the restaurant's Basil Popcorn Chicken, a Taiwanese-style fried chicken made from halal-raised, antibiotic-free chicken that's marinated in garlic, soy and traditional spices, then fried crispy alongside fresh Thai basil. The dish is available in mild or spicy versions and is prepared in Zero Acre cultured oil, avoiding traditional seed oils. Teas'n You says it asked The Organic Butcher of McLean to find it the best chicken it could, which led to Farmer Focus.

Beyond the signature chicken, Teas'n You offers loose-leaf teas, fruit-infused teas, milk teas, slush beverages, desserts, pastries and other savory snacks. Founded in Vienna in 2017, the tea house has built a following across the DMV region with its extensive drink and food selection.

The Rockville grand opening on September 26 included buy one, get one free specials throughout opening weekend, and a free cupcake for the first 100 guests.
