Rockville's most anticipated Hong Kong dessert return: Mango Mango

Mango Mango Dessert opened at 1617 Rockville Pike in Congressional Plaza on September 24, 2026, taking over the former Custom Ink space next to Häagen-Dazs. It is a return to Montgomery County for the chain, which ran a shop at Downtown Crown in Gaithersburg from October 2019 to April 2021.

Founded in New York City's Chinatown in 2013, Mango Mango specializes in Hong Kong-style sweet soups and mango desserts, plus smoothies, ice cream and pastries. The best first order is a coconut mango smoothie; the green tea mille crêpe cake and the fresh passion fruit green tea with pulp are the most popular picks from its opening promotions.

The grand-opening deals, including buy-one, get-one drinks and free Alphonso mango ice cream, ran from September 25 through October 18, 2026.
